Two-player game · One shared device

Not pass-and-play. Two people operate at the same time.

Don't Press Together! turns one landscape iPhone or iPad into a two-sided control panel. Blue and Orange touch at the same time, receive private clues, and share the same machine state.

For two people looking for same-screen co-op on one device—not turn-taking, remote multiplayer, or a collection of 1v1 mini-games.

Real Don't Press Together gameplay for two players sharing one device

Why this is real one-device co-op

Both players stay active, and neither can replace the other

Simultaneous touch

The game keeps track of each player's touch identity. Blue and Orange can press, drag, and select signals on their own sides at the same time.

Private information prevents takeover

Each side sees different instructions and controls different hardware. Fast reactions alone cannot replace the clue held by the other player.

Co-op instead of 1v1

Both players share the same meters and countdown. The crew succeeds or fails together rather than competing for an individual score.

How a run works

Three minutes where talking is part of the rules

  1. Put the device between you

Sit face-to-face around one iPhone or iPad. Choose the Blue or Orange side.

  2. Share what only you can see

Each player gets private clues and a different set of buttons, levers, and signals.

  3. Review and retry

Results explain the failure. Start a new puzzle or replay the same seed immediately.

Questions

Before you start

Can both people really touch the screen at once?

Yes. The interface is designed for simultaneous two-person touch and keeps an active touch attached to the side where it began.

Is this a pass-and-play game?

No. The device stays between both players while they read, talk, and operate their own control areas throughout the run.

Is it a 1v1 game?

No. Blue and Orange cooperate to stabilize one machine, and either side's mistake affects the whole crew.

Do we need two phones, controllers, or Bluetooth?

No. You only need one iPhone or iPad running iOS / iPadOS 17 or later.
